I’m Sarah, a Ferris State University grad, former teacher, proud only child, newlywed to my incredible husband David, and fur-mama to our sweet pup Frankie. I’ve always believed in the power of stories—and this bakery? It's my way of telling mine.

Growing up, my family didn’t need a special occasion to bake. The kitchen was where life happened—where love was mixed into every batch and traditions were passed from hand to heart. I lost my grandparents young, but they left behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and quiet strength. My dad's health journey has reminded me time and time again that life is fragile and precious—and that we should savor the sweet moments while we can.

This bakery is my way of honoring them all. Their names. Their recipes. Their spirit. Every cookie you enjoy helps keep their memory alive, one bite at a time.

There's a little magic in my kitchen—sometimes literal! I’m a lifelong Harry Potter lover (Gryffindor, if you’re wondering), and I bring that sense of whimsy and wonder into my baking. Some of my cookies are inspired by old family favorites, others by inside jokes, and many by the little things that make life beautiful—like the comfort of home or the joy of a perfectly gooey center.
